Thank you for taking a look at this page. Your children and I have compiled a list of want's and needs for the classroom. Already everyone has been very generous. We have a wonderful new reading corner equipped with bean bag chairs for comfort, new books, a reading lamp, and a rainforest canopy. We also have a few new board games in the classroom for rainy days. Thank you!
Sometimes it is the little differences we make, that can make school "work" more fun. We do our math problems on dry erase boards. We use fun color expo markers on the board. We have new clip boards for when they are writing. All these little extras are noticed and appreciated by the students.
The school does provide what we need and has been very generous. However, the little extras make our room special. I have come up with a few things that I know would assist in my teaching, the children have come up with some ideas that they think would be nice, and then there are the things that would just be neat to have.
We are also looking forward to the classroom's future. Next year the room will be bigger and we asked ourselves what don't we have, that might be nice for the up and coming students.
